About NextIPO
Why NextIPO exists
Most IPO coverage in India answers one question — "what's the GMP?" — and stops there. The people who actually do well answer a different one: "is this fairly priced, and who is really selling?"
NextIPO is built to close that gap. Not another listing calendar: a hub organised around the journey and its blind spots, from "should I apply?" to "should I still be holding this a year later?"
What makes it different
- Honest by default. We publish the data that dents the hype — how often GMP was wrong, how many IPOs listed below their issue price — because that track record is the whole point.
- Frameworks over predictions. We teach the decision. We do not sell a tip.
- The whole journey. Especially the post-listing stage, where almost every other IPO site goes quiet.
- Visibly unbiased. No application incentive in the framing, an explicit "educational, not advice" stance, and tools that show their working instead of hiding behind a score.
How the data is maintained
- Dates, price bands, issue size: taken from official BSE / NSE / SEBI filings and entered by hand when announced.
- Subscription figures: from the exchanges, updated once a day at end of day. We deliberately avoid minute-by-minute updates.
- GMP: from grey-market consensus. It is unofficial, and every GMP figure is logged and later checked against the actual listing so the accuracy record stays honest.
- DRHP summaries: produced offline from the SEBI prospectus and published as plain static text. No live AI runs on this site.
Not investment advice
Everything here is educational information. We are not registered investment advisers, and nothing on NextIPO is a recommendation to apply for, buy, hold or sell any security.
